No surprise that spammers love my email address if it is written in clear text on webpages. But maybe 1998 was not the time of spam yet, so nobody cared back then. Still getting referers from those old old pages. Wished in 8 years some anti spam method would have evolved. But strangely it hasn’t. Wondering what happened to those SMTP extensions (here and here and here and here) which were discussed in the last years. But even if it was standarized, it would probably take another 8 years until the many nobody-touches-it-because-it’s-running-fine-sendmail installations are updated anyway.
